Who Doesn't love a Potato Head? I mean, really?! Fred Meyer has Mr. and Mrs. Potato Heads on sale BOGO FREE this week. I haven't been there yet (I'm leavin in a few minutes) but it's been reported that the Mr. and Mrs. are $6.99 and you can use 2 $2 off coupons making it just $2.99 for TWO.
It has also been reported that the Potato Head Buddies are also BOGO FREE and they are $10.99 each. Use two $5 coupons from coupons.com and get them BOTH for $.99!!!!
Now that's a cheap Potato!!!

Tell me, did Fred Meyers have lots of potato heads? Also when the other stores price match, do they price match items that don't have prices, like BOGO free or % off deals? I thought it was only when there was a price that was listed.
ReplyDeleteOK, I went to FM last night and they had some Potato Heads, a regular one and some fireman and a bathtub Potato Head. I was hoping for a Mrs. and some of the buddies so I went to the TF Walmart. They had one Buddy. (the buddies are really cute!!) I asked the cashier at Walmart if they match BOGO and she said no :( but my friend did a BOGO match at the Jerome Walmart last week so I don't know. Odds are that your best bet is to get a raincheck at Freddies if they don't have what you want. That's what I'm gunna do. I hope that helps!!!
ReplyDeleteI know that our lovely new Walmart is having issues with price-matching that I never saw in the Jerome store....I hope it goes away soon. Do you think that Smiths would take Walgreen's 5$ off $25.oo coupon? I think I'll do the rain check too. thanks for the update
ReplyDeletethat's a great question about the walgreens coupon. I'm not sure but I can ask and find out. That's a great idea! K, my friend says that at the jerome walmart they have to enter a BOGO item by splitting the price. so if it's $10 then they enter each price as $5 because they can't enter a price as zero. So if the cashier needs a little guiding, tell them that! :)

ReplyDeletebut yes, I made good on Mr Pot Heads both Mr's and Pot Head Buds. They BOGO'd it and It broke to 1.50 for Mr's and 99cents for buds. (2 of each of course).
But yeah, they are doing BOGO's just fine. I've had several mangers take a look at it and they're ok...I mean, they aren't THRILLED or anything...but they'll take it. Some of the new cashiers don't know how to do it...so if you coach them along..tell them how to just split the price..cause they can't enter in 0.00. But the BOGOS are part of the price match...but a word from the wise (or unwise) bring your add if you are doing something fancy...like a BOGO deal.
Okay...I'm off to break that Up deal....
sorry, forgot to say I cleaned Jeromes Walmart. Sorry dudes ;-) only one Pot Head left.
